dozens, odd or even bet boxes, and the boxes for 1-18 and 19-36.
Now, with any version of roulette, there are several different types of bets that you can make. If you are reading this article, chances are that you are already aware of several of them. However, many individuals do not realize that there are actually strategies other than their own that have been recorded over time. These strategies can help you to win, but the casino still has the edge – just a smaller one.
The first that we will discuss is a strategy that many individuals try at one point or another to beat roulette; the Martingale strategy.  With this strategy, a player will double their bet after losing and continue to do so until a win occurs. The idea is that the player will be able to recover all losses and still win an amount equal to the first bet. This strategy is costly and players may run out of cash before their number actually hits.
Some strategies similar to this are:
·       The Labouchere – Players work the table using numbers in a line from the outside in. The numbers at the end of each line are used to determine what will be bet.
·       The D’Alembert – This system is based on wins and losses. If a player bets and wins, the bet is lowered by a dollar. If they bet and lose, the bet is raised by a dollar.
Other individuals choose to bet the columns.
